In 1971 a group of Lincoln County citizens founded West Lincoln Optimist Club and gained their charter from Optimist International. For the past 50 years West Lincoln Optimist Club has been a training ground for local athletes and a gathering place for the Community. 
Our Baseball and Softball programs are sanctioned through Dixie Youth Baseball and Dixie Softball Inc. where our teams have won multiple Championships over the years. 
The West Lincoln Optimist Football program has been equally successful garnering multiple Division and League Championships. 
Many of our current Leaders and Coaches grew up playing on the fields of West Lincoln Optimist and now serve as volunteers giving back to the Club they love.
